Doing a full remodel on your home can be exciting and a great deal of work at the same time. No matter how much hard work is involved, you will be left with new rooms to enjoy that are both updated and comfortable. So, what does an entire home remodel include?
What is a Full Home Remodel?
It consists of remodeling each room in your house. Now, this is easier for some people and harder for others. It will often depend on how big your home is and how many things you want to change in each room.
Bedrooms
A total remodel will consist of all the bedrooms being done. This can include kid’s rooms, guest rooms, and the master bedrooms. When renovating bedrooms, you may decide to remove the pre-existing flooring and replace it with something new. For instance, if you currently have carpet, you may want to put in hardwood flooring instead. Remodeling your bedrooms can also include painting the walls and installing add-ons, such as an extra sitting room or a closet.
Bathrooms and Kitchens
A complete remodel will also include the bathrooms and kitchens. You may want to make smaller bathrooms bigger by expanding from another room. Other things in a bathroom or kitchen can include adding vanities, changing sinks, and painting the walls or cabinets. Remodeling a kitchen or bathroom can include changing the plumbing, installing a new bath or shower, or replacing them entirely.
Closets
A part of a full home remodel will often include extending the closets. Extending them can include making a walk-in closet. You could also paint the closet walls the same color as the bedroom and add new carpet or tile on the floors.
